Set in the months proceeding Return of the Jedi, Shattered Empire shows an Empire in disarray but not defeated. The Emperor's death has triggered "Operation Cinder," and Imperials are launching devastating attacks on planets around the galaxy to erase (or hide) traces of the dead Sith Lord's legacy. The Alliance, meanwhile, looks to counter those attacks and snuff out remaining Imperial outposts one by one.
Like many of the recent Star Wars releases, I wasn't overly impressed here. The story moves at lightning speed- far too fast for proper plot/character development. The art isn't great, and the overall saga story isn't advanced much. We meet a new character or two, and learn that the Emperor has secrets stashed around the galaxy that Jedi (and others) may be interested in obtaining. That's it.
