The Clone Wars Summarized

In the original Star Wars movie, Obi-Wan Kenobi mentions a desperate conflict from the distant past: the Clone Wars.  Decades later, we saw the how the conflict began (in Episode II) and ended (in Episode III), but we never saw the middle.  That story was reserved for the CGI television show, which aired from 2008 to 2014 (and then added a seventh season in 2020).  I've already reviewed the movie (which kicked off the series) and each season- links to all are shown below.

Movie (Rating: A-)
Season 1 (Rating: C+)
Season 2 (Rating: B-)
Season 3 (Rating: B)
Season 4 (Rating: B+)
Season 5 (Rating: A)
The Lost Missions (Rating: A+)
Season 7 (Rating: A)

As you see from my ratings, the show got better as time went on.  Epic battles, exotic worlds, suspense and intrigue- the show had it all (depending on the episode).  The new Rebels TV show even pulls elements (mostly characters) from these stories, so watch Clone Wars first if you can.

Rating (for series): A-
