Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

The economy has crashed; people are desperate, and in that state, they elect Lex Luthor President of the USA.  Lex wants all superheroes to work for him or risk being labeled outlaws . . . for obvious reasons, Superman and Batman stay away from the call.  Things are going surprisingly well for a while . . . but when a Kryptonite meteor is discovered heading towards Earth, and Lex's initial solution to stop it fails, Lex requests a meeting with Superman to help.  Superman agrees and meets, is framed for killing Metallo, and Lex puts a bounty on his head- one billion dollars- to bring many other heroes (and villains) against the Man of Steel.  Lots of hero-on-hero fighting ensues . . . all the while, the meteor is getting closer . . . which is playing into Lex's secret plan perfectly.  Can Supes & Bats team up to stop it in time?

This 2009 film was . . . okay.  The other heroes/villains in the film- and there are many- were almost entirely second-rate, so none of the frequent fight scenes had 'big name match-ups.'  The plot was vanilla and adequately executed, but overall, this wasn't one of my favorites.
