Wiesbaden

The capital of Hessen (logo below), Wiesbaden is a small city in the heart of Germany.  Strategically located on the Rhein river, adjacent to Mainz and near Frankfurt, Wiesbaden offers a wealth of possibilities.  It's been a city since (at least) Roman times- its hot springs attracted the ancients, and they (the hot springs) can still be seen throughout the city.  Wiesbaden's Churches, architecture, history, and parks make it well worth a visit, as the photos below will attest.

The first seven shots are of the largest cemetery in town- note the grave of Manfred von Richtofen, better remembered to history as the Red Baron.
