The Art of Lent is an art-based devotional for the season (the six weeks of Lent, ending at Easter). Each day has a painting (drawn from across centuries, both famous works and others) with an analysis of its spiritual aspects. Each week has a theme (like 'humility,' 'joy,' etc) to tie things together.
This is a nice little book. I don't always agree with the theology, but some passages are outstanding. Most of all, I enjoyed the art analysis and gaining insight into some famous works.
