Kanan Jarrus is the featured Jedi on the Star Wars Rebels TV show. Here in The Last Padawan, we have the start of his origin tale. Born Caleb Dume, we follow him through Jedi training under Master Billaba, his escape from Order 66, and his fugitive/formative years working as a smuggler and avoiding the Clones still on his tail. The book ends with him returning to the world he left as a Padawan on the run, now in the employ of the infant Rebellion. His past may imperil his present . . . can he overcome?
Another decent 'new canon' offering, this story is relatively unoriginal, but told and drawn well. Fans of the TV show would probably enjoy it.
